We are open to all.

Wherever you may be, wherever you come from, and wherever you’re going, INCC welcomes you. We recognize that faith is a process, not an arrival, and what holds us together is our love for God and love for one another — both inside and outside our church walls. Affirming that every person has worth as a unique creation and as a beloved child of God, we welcome everyone into full participation, regardless of age, sex, race, color, ethnicity, culture, immigration status, political affiliation, economic condition, physical and mental ability, education level, marital status, sexual orientation, and gender identity and expression. As Disciples of Christ, we are a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world, and we hope you find your place with us.

We are here to serve.

The writer of James says this, “My siblings, what good is it to profess faith without practicing it? Such a faith has no power to save… So it is with faith. If good deeds don’t go with it, faith is dead.”  At INCC, we understand faith needs to be active and that love is a verb. As a diverse church we are committed to being connected to the needs of our Irving neighbors and committed to working with community partners to address those needs.

We are all God’s family.

Families are not perfect and neither are we. Like a lot of families we can get on each other's nerves and challenge one another and yet at the end of the day we remember that our love for each other is more important than our differences.  INCC  feels like  a family and is a community where all matter. Through our worship, praise, service, and fellowship we embody Jesus’ love for all.
